Dinner in the Cellars of Diocletian's Palace

On the first day of the conference, a dinner will be organized in the Cellars of Diocletian’s Palace. Diocletian’s Palace is one of the best-preserved monuments of Roman architecture in the world. Over the centuries, the inhabitants of the palace, and then the citizens of Split, adapted these spaces to their own needs, but the outlines of the imperial palace are still very visible.

The Cellars of Diocletian’s Palace (The Diocletian Palace Substructures) represent one of the best preserved ancient complexes of their kind in the world, and hence are in many ways responsible for the reason the historical core of Split was in 1979 included on the UNESCO’S World Heritage list.

There will be a bus transfer from Le Méridien Lav  hotel to the Diocletian’s Palace and after the event, from the Diocletian’s Palace back to Le Méridien Lav.

It was built in 1908. With the establishment of this public institution, Split is getting a professional concert hall for the first time in its history.
