INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE JOURNEY FROM THE SPLIT AIRPORT TO THE CITY CENTER AND THEN TO THE LE MERIDIEN LAV SPLIT HOTEL

  • Split Airport (Saint Jerome)

Split Airport (Saint Jerome) is about 25 kilometers away from the city of Split. Most forms of transportation from the airport take you to the main bus station in the center of Split, from where you need to continue your journey to the Le Meridien Lav hotel, located in Podstrana (8 km southeast of the center).

Here are some of the options you can use:

  • Shuttle bus

Organised shuttle bus (Pleso Transport) rides directly from the airport to the main bus station in Split. Departures are 30-40 minutes after the aircraft lands. The duration of the ride is about 30 minutes. Detailed information is available at +385 99 299 3160 and at the link:

  • Public transport

There are two public transport lines available between the airport and the main bus station of Split – No. 37 (SPLIT BUS STATION – AIRPORT – TROGIR) and No. 2 (SPLIT BUS STATION – POLJIČKA – K. SUĆURAC (STRINJE) – AIRPORT). Line No. 37 rides every 20 minutes and the estimated duration of the journey is about 40 to 50 minutes, depending on the traffic.   • Taxi

You can either look for taxis with a tag that are usually right in front of the exit from the terminal or order via the Bolt, Cameo or Uber app. The journey from the airport to the hotel takes 35-45 minutes, depending on the traffic.

  • From the city to a hotel

If you choose a combination of a shuttle bus or public city bus to reach the center of Split, you can continue your journey to the Le Meridien Lav hotel by bus No. 60 (direction: Stobreč – Podstrana – Omiš). Board the bus number 60 at the main bus station in Split and then exit at Grljevac station in Podstrana. The journey takes approximately 25-30 minutes. After getting off the bus at Grljevac station, head south on foot, in the direction of the coast, and follow the signs to the Le Meridien Lav hotel. The hotel is just a five-minute walk from the station.
