Mr. Tonči Glavina, Minister of Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Croatia
Tourism has always been at the heart of the professional career and interests of Tonči Glavina, the Minister of Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Croatia.
Before being appointed to this important political position, he served two terms as State Secretary for Tourism and spent many years as the director and a member of the Management Board of Eklat in Split, a company specializing in destination management with a focus on children’s and youth tourism.
From 2014 to 2017, he was the director of the Klis Business Incubator, an organization founded and owned by the Municipality of Klis, responsible for the municipality’s development strategy and its implementation, with a particular emphasis on tourism and destination management, project management, grant funding applications, and entrepreneurship development.
Tonči Glavina completed his education in the United States, earning an MBA from Wesley College in Dover, Delaware.
